A dear friend encouraged me to write this post...so, thank you BP. We had a crazy couple of weeks recently with more "emergencies" than preferable! The icing on the cake was that on my first "down" day to catch up on things, our drain to the washing machine was unplugged and I flooded the laundry room, dining room and hallway. All I could think was "Seriously??" As I sat on my couch trying to put my thoughts together, I look down my hallway at Sarah splashing water as she runs up and down the hallway. She kept saying "Look Mommy, It's Water". As I watched her enjoy such a simple (in her mind) pleasure, I was reminded that we should all see our problems/aggrevations through childlike eyes. I couldn't help but to enjoy that moment with her and realized that a flooded house was not the end of the world, by any means!! I let her put on her rainboots and play in the laundry room where there was standing water. She had so much fun!! What a precious reminder of God's faithfulness!
There really is Lemonade with every Lemon!
